PASTE STUDIO SESSION Glen Hansard Mar 26, 2019 - Paste Studios Irish singer/songwriter Glen Hansard stopped by the Paste Studio in March to perform songs from his fourth solo album This Wild Willing, out on ANTI- Records. The former Frames frontman's new album was recorded at Black Box studios in Paris, and is rooted in experimentation, improvisation and spontaneous collaboration. Hansard utilized the support and influence of classically trained musicians—the Khoshravesh brothers and Dublin-based electronica artists Deasy and Dunk Murphy. Siggelkow now leads a four-piece band, and the EP caught the attention of Oxford, Miss., label Fat Possum. In March, Ellis recorded their first ever online session in the Paste Studio. They played "Something Blue," sandwiched by cuts from the EP, "What a Mess!" and "N.Y.E." On the first song, Siggelkow repeats the line "What a mess I've made of this," but this session is anything but.
