This vitally important lesson was one Dan Kennedy instilled into me and is the difference between you selling to a handful of customers or selling to the masses.
Improving yourself (your health, finances, intelligence, confidence etc) whilst simple is not always easy, right?
Think about it...
You know that to lose weight you should exercise more, avoid junk food and eat plenty of vegetables.
Pretty simple, in theory, right?
You know that to increase your finances you have to save more money and find a way to earn more.
Pretty simple, in theory, right?
You know that to increase your confidence you need to put yourself into more social situations and talk to more people.
Pretty simple, in theory, right?
However, so few people are able to improve these core areas.
Why?
Because whilst these self improvement strategies are simple they aren't necessarily easy to implement.
As they often involve hard work, sacrifice, and uncomfortable situations.
Consider this crucial point...
Whilst you desire and need to improve many areas of your life.
You don't necessarily have the time or energy to achieve those changes.
And more importantly, the desire for change may be present in you but the willpower may not be.
And here's the powerful marketing lesson to be learned:
As a marketer don't sell "self improvement" offers.
Self improvement offers are products that offer a slight improvement after lots of hard work on the customers part.
Such as; an exercise plan that requires you to visit the Gym every day for 6 months and spend an hour exercising just to drop a waste size.
So instead of trying to sell people on "self improving" (which only a tiny fraction of any market will purchase) you need to sell them ESCAPISM.
I teach you exactly how to create "Escape Offers" in the Escapology Marketing Marketing Lesson as a NicheHacks Insider member when you become a member here:
Let's escape,
Stuart
